Anly's return to Germany after her performance at the AnimagiC convention marked a highly anticipated event for her fans. This time, the stage was set at the intimate and cozy venue, "Der Hof," situated in Düsseldorf. The transition from a big convention setting to a smaller venue promised a more personal and immersive experience. Sadly only around 30 people came to see her that night. It's possible that the smaller turnout at the concert was due to various factors, including limited promotion or the event's nature being more low-key or less widely publicised. Sometimes, intimate shows like this can fly a bit under the radar, despite an artist's popularity. The singers warm and friendly demeanour during the meet and greet session before the concert added an extra layer of excitement. She seemed to enjoy taking photos with everyone and was very relaxed. She even took my hands when I told her I was cold because I waited for her outside for too long. While Anly graciously offered autographs to her dedicated fans, there was a bit of disappointment as CDs were notably absent from the merchandise stand. Her fans, eager to take home a piece of her music as a tangible memory of the night, were left wanting. Despite this setback, the opportunity to secure a personal autograph likely provided a cherished keepsake for everyone who attended.
Anly performing live at Der Hof in Düsseldorf, Germany
Despite the smaller setting, Anly's presence commanded the stage. Her performance showcased not only her musical talent but also her ability to connect with her audience. From the very first minute she strummed the first chords to the final notes of the night, she effortlessly captivated the crowd with her voice and energetic delivery. But her stage presence is not just about her vocals; it's also marked by her innovative use of loops. Seamlessly weaving melodies and rhythms, she skill-fully records and layers loops live on stage, creating a very dynamic musical experience. If you didn't see it live, it would be hard to believe that it was all done by just one woman. I've never seen anything like this before with other artists. She really is an exceptional talent. Her performance at "Der Hof" in Düsseldorf surpassed expectations as she took the stage for an incredible 90-minute set, a significant extension from her previous appearance at AnimagiC. The intimate setting, while creating a unique experience, also highlighted the absence of a larger audience that could have shared in the magic of her music. But with her talent and dedication, you can be sure that as her career progresses, she'll continue to reach wider audiences and garner more recognition for her incredible music. Even in Germany!
